Pink Ribbon

Intermediate:

Skills needed: Knit, Purl, inc, dec, intarsia or duplucate st.

My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in March of 2003. (Don't worry, she’s doing great now!!!)  I designed this sweater in honor of her.  I am continually amazed at the responses I get when I am wearing it.

Note: Because of the stretchy nature of the yarn, the length and width can very easily be adjusted in the blocking process, so don’t feel limited to the given measurements—shape it to your needs!

Note: When I knit this I did the ribbon in intarsia but, depending on your skill level and where you want it placed on the sweater, this template could be used for either intarsia or duplicate st.  When working the ribbon, use two strands of CC held together. I put the ribbon in 3.5 sts from the edge. There are 9 sts in between the bottom edges in the first row.
